We undertook this branding and packaging exercise for a local traditional apple press company. So it seemed entirely natural therefore that the logo we designed was created by painting a sliced apple and then pressing it to create a print. We paired this with a printed effect block font and created outlined vector artwork for the apple so that it could be scaled with no loss of resolution.
The Random Apple Company's ethos is simple: They hate to see home grown fruit go to waste. Based in Macclesfield, they started turning random apples from different sources into a delicious healthy blend with a taste that can vary from bottle to bottle.
The public are invited to take along their own collected apples to open pressing days, where in return they receive the juice of half of them bottled and ready to drink (fresh, or pasteurised). The remaining juice blend from all the fruit is then made available to buy in local shops and eateries. This way everyone can enjoy locally grown fruit, hand pressed in a traditional way!
As part of the rebrand, we were also responsible for designing the single colour, self adhesive printed labels for the bottles.
